Cosworth’s many years of Motorsport experience has taught us that stopping power is just as critical to performance as engine power. With that in mind, Cosworth has developed two lines of performance brake pads for genuine fast road car and track performance enthusiasts – StreetMaster and TrackMaster.

Manufactured in the UK. It feature a 1.5mm granulated inter-layer which not only serves to act as a shock absorber. It helps to reduce stress on the rotor surface but triples bonding strength, diminishing edge lifting. To reduce the bedding-in or seating-in time – this is the time it takes for the pad and disc to adapt to each other.  All Cosworth brake pads are heat seared.

This process heats the friction material in excess of 600 degrees C, toasting the surface, greatly enhancing the performance the first time that the driver applies the brakes. Scorching pads also reduces initial fading – fading increases the necessary force and pressure required to maintain the deceleration of the vehicle. Cosworth’s brake pad range offers exceptional performance without compromise.

These are a road legal R90, carbon based , medium-hard sports pad suitable for fast road and light track day applications.

It offers superior bite at low temperature and remain very stable over a wide temperature range up to 650°C. It delivers predictable braking & an excellent “pedal-feel”.
