Attention: This solution is tailor-made for the Recaro Pole Position seat.

We do not use elongated holes for adjusting the position in front of the steering wheel, as this has already been measured and designed by us.

The seat attachment connects its seat to the chassis of your car. It is therefore primarily a safety-relevant component and we designed it exactly according to this. The weight optimization is not done arbitrarily, but carefully. In addition, with our solution we achieve the lowest possible position and enable a central sitting position in front of the steering wheel with various seat shells.

In this case, no four-part construction (as with the E36 and E46 models) is necessary, as this construction method enabled us to reduce the lever arms between the attachment points. As a result, lower loads occur due to lower torques. Thus the console consists of two parts and not only reduces the weight, but also the effort of assembly. With the F-series models, we were able to do without elongated holes, as the manufacturing tolerances of the vehicles are sufficiently small to be able to work with blind holes.

We avoid the unwieldy countering of difficult-to-access nuts under the console by already integrating threads into the 8 mm steel. Less fastening material, less effort, smooth installation, with maximum exhaustion of the given installation space.

After numerous tests, our L-adapters were designed in 4 mm steel and have well thought-out placement of the holes in order to adjust the lowest possible position with a wide variety of seat shell shapes. We were able to refine the scaling of the height through the double-row drilling.

These parts are motorsport products that are not simply approved according to the StVO. An individual acceptance according to §21 by the TÜV is necessary for this.
